The Burnley defender has piqued the interest of Manchester United and Liverpool.
Recent reports have suggested Jurgen Klopp is closing in on a £25million deal and personal terms are thought to have been thrashed out.
Other claims have emerged that Klopp would like to sign Keane AND Southampton's Virgil van Dijk.
Keane's manager, Sean Dyche admitted earlier today his side are under no pressure to sell the 24-year-old.
"We are a club that is in unbelievably good shape. There is no pressure to do anything.
“It is more a case of doing what is right in any situation.
"If all parties agree, that might be something the club have to look at just by the realities of what it is in the Premier League but we are certainly in very healthy shape so we don’t have to make any decisions for any other reason than we think it is appropriate.”
