Arsenal fans remain in the dark about Arsene Wenger’s future at the club as he enters the final month of contract.
The Frenchman shrugged off claims he had promised to make known his future plans before May, simply saying he was “wrong” this week.
However, the Gunners board have not been idle while awaiting Wenger’s decision and have reportedly set their sights on possible replacements.

French broadcaster Telefoot claim top of their wishlist is Monaco boss Leonardo Jardim.
The 42-year-old has earned high praise with the Ligue 1 side this season, making them one of the most exciting, goalscoring teams in Europe.
And with his future at the Stade Louis II stadium uncertain, the Gunners are reportedly keen to take him to north London.
However, they will reportedly face competition from Serie A giant Inter Milan who are also monitoring the Portuguese.
Jardim’s current deal with Monaco runs until June 2019.
