Tottenham look likely to miss out on their first Premier League title after defeat to West Ham on Friday night.
Spurs are now four points behind top-of-the-table Chelsea and the Blues have a game in hand against Middlesbrough on Monday.
But Britton, who started his youth career at Arsenal, says Spurs are tougher to face than their north London rivals as well as Chelsea and Liverpool.
For me Tottenham are the hardest team to play against. They're very athletic, press from the front
"I don't think there's the fear factor (when you play Arsenal)," he said on BT Sport.
"I think with Arsenal you catch them on a day. They're not a nice team to play against but they will give you an opportunity to play football.
"They will just look to try and beat you playing football. Other teams can mix it up a little bit more, your Chelsea's, your Liverpool's can press high. With Arsenal it's a little bit more 'alright you have the ball but we'll beat you'.
Leon Britton says playing Tottenham is harder than facing Chelsea, Arsenal and Liverpool
"For me Tottenham are the hardest team to play against. They're very athletic, press from the front, have technical players all over the pitch.
"You look at Danny Rose and Kyle Walker, the lads in the middle, they've got so much quality.
"They're so quick when they lose the ball, you get it and bang, they're on to you straight away. They're such a hard team to play against."
