Ashley Young injury update: Bad news for Manchester United star
ASHLEY YOUNG could reportedly be out for the remainder of the season after suffering a hamstring injury in the 1-0 win over Celta Vigo last night.
Ashley Young is likely to be out for the remainder of the season
Ashley Young came on as a late substitute against Celta Vigo last night, replacing Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the 78th minute.
However, after just 10 minutes on the field the 31-year-old had to be taken off after injuring himself while stretching to block a cross.
The Manchester Evening News claim the winger has suffered a hamstring injury and is likely to miss the remainder of the season.

The report says he will be assessed over the next 48 hours but the initial outlook does not look good.
Young's knock is just one of a host of injuries that United have been forced to cope with over the last few weeks.
And with a key fixture against Arsenal on Sunday (4pm) at the Emirates, Mourinho will have to reshuffle the pack.
Young would likely have been in the side to face the Gunners having started six of United's last eight Premier League games.
However, Phil Jones and Chris Smalling - who replaced Young against Celta Vigo - are both back in contention this weekend.
Young has made 23 appearances this season in all competitions for the Red Devils but is yet to score, providing only one assist.
