RIO FERDINAND is surprised Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho left Michael Carrick out of the starting XI against Celta Vigo tonight.

Carrick takes his place among the substitutes, with Paul Pogba returning from injury, Marouane Fellaini and Ander Herrera across the middle.
But Ferdinand reckons United will still have enough to get the job done.
