United have struggled to win games consistently this season but have built up a resilience.
However they remain short in their battle for the top four after Sunday’s draw with Swansea and the Europa League looks like their best hope of playing in next season’s Champions League.

Mourinho has shown faith in Marcus Rashford and has challenged Anthony Martial to show last season’s form, but a move for Griezmann could limit game-time for those two next season.

And if United are unable to to make Europe’s elite competition their task to sign Griezmann will effectively be over.
