Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is keen to add at least one centre-back to his squad this summer.
The futures of Chris Smalling and Phil Jones are in doubt, with Mourinho ready to axe either man to bring in fresh faces.
And French TV station Telefoot claim Mourinho has made a move for Marquinhos, who is valued at £50million.

However, the report adds that Manchester City and Barcelona have also revealed their intentions with rival offers for the Brazilian.
According to the claims, all three clubs believe they can land Marquinhos as the player repeatedly rejects contract offers from PSG.
PSG manager Unai Emery is keen to keep the 22-year-old but the player is unwilling to extend his current terms.

He is contracted to the Ligue 1 side until 2019, meaning PSG are under no pressure to sell him this summer.
But a lucrative offer from one of their European rivals may convince club officials at the Parc des Princes to cash in on the South American.
