Man United star does himself no favours: He showed lack of brains - pundit
MATT LE TISSIER says Marouane Fellaini showed "a complete lack of brains" when getting sent off in Manchester United's 0-0 draw with Manchester City on Thursday.
Fellaini sent off after headbutting Agüero
Fellaini was given his marching orders by referee Martin Atkinson after head-butting Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero with 10 minutes remaining.
The Belgian had only just received a yellow card for a foul on Aguero before committing the offence.
Southampton legend Le Tissier says Aguero's fall to the ground was dramatic but the Manchester United star still deserved to be sent off.

Aguero's reaction isn't great, that isn't enough contact to make someone fall down. But as soon as he drops his head on him, the referee has no choice
"It was absolutely daft," he said on Sky Sports.
"He's shown a complete lack of brains to get involved.
"He's on a yellow card and I can understand emotions are running high.
Matt Le Tissier says Marouane Fellaini shouldn't have reacted like he did to Sergio Aguero
"He's had a little bit of time to cool down and he doesn't have to do this.
"He just doesn't do himself any favours. Aguero's reaction isn't great, that isn't enough contact to make someone fall down.
"But as soon as he drops his head on him, the referee has no choice."
