Chelsea captain Terry will call time on his 22-year career with the Blues at the end of the season.
The 36-year-old insists he won’t retire and wants to continue playing at the top level.
And former England international Mills reckons Terry would be a useful at Manchester United even if he doesn’t play regularly.

Even to have him on the training pitch, around the place, that experience [would be good for United]
“Even to have him on the training pitch, around the place, that experience [would be good for United],” Mills told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“I think JT’s doing his coaching badges as well at the moment. I’m sure he’d want to learn again from that side of it.”
Stoke midfielder Charlie Adam also backed Terry to reunite with Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.

He added: “I couldn’t see Terry in a United shirt but if I was a Mourinho I would go and take him.
“I’d say to him, ‘listen, come and play for a year’. And why not, he’s a leader, a winner.”
