Real dropped to second in La Liga at the weekend following a dramatic defeat to Barcelona, but they do have one game in hand and are level on points.
Nevertheless, they will be hoping to get back to winning ways to put pressure on their arch-rivals tonight (8.30pm) when they travel to Deportivo.
But they will have to do so without their star talisman Cristiano Ronaldo, who Zidane has decided to rest.

Zinedine Zidane has also opted to rest Toni Kroos
Zidane will also be without Gareth Bale who was ruled out for a month yesterday after aggravating a calf injury against Barcelona.
The Real boss has also opted to give Toni Kroos a rest with Isco, Casemiro and Rodriguez likely to form the midfield three.
Sergio Ramos is unavailable due to his straight red card in El Clasico but he will return for the match against Valencia on Saturday after being handed just a one-match suspension for his challenge on Lionel Messi.

Raphael Varane is expected to make his long-awaited La Liga return after playing just once in the last 10 league matches.
But Pepe is still sidelined with a rib fracture meaning Nacho could partner Varane in defence.
