REAL MADRID president Florentino Perez has been backed to sign Monaco star Kylian Mbappe this summer by former midfielder Christian Karembeu.
Kylian Mbappe is been hugely impressive for Monaco this season
Kylian Mbappe has burst onto the scene this season with Monaco, scoring 22 goals in all competitions for the Ligue 1 side.
Express Sport understands the 18-year-old is a target for Manchester City, as well as being linked with Manchester United and Real Madrid.
And according to former Real midfielder Christian Karembeu, his former side have a good chance of signing the teenager.

Kylian Mbappe already had INCREDIBLE skills as a 10-year-old
However, he feels the deal could hinge on Florentino Perez remaining club president following this summer's elections.
"Mr Perez never disappoints with the signings. He always signs big players," Karembeu told website Goal.
"He had his logic of signing all the Ballon D'Or winners - Kaka, Fabio Cannavaro, Ronaldo, Zinedine Zidane, Luis Figo, they all came to Madrid.
"Maybe he can do that with Lionel Messi, you never know!
"The next strategy could be Mbappe.
"He is young and can improve himself to be better. Mbappe could be the one. But it depends on the election."
