Barcelona want to agree a new deal with Lionel Messi in the next few days - and it could see him earn £29m-a-year.
Messi has 18 months left on his current deal but his dad Jorge, who represents him, is in Barcelona for talks over an extension.
The new deal will see Messi earn a bumper £550,000-a-week, according to respected Spanish newspaper Marca, and the player is said to be keen to make put pen to paper.
Discussions over an extension started late last year with the intentions of both sides being for Messi to stay at the Nou Camp.
Diego Costa will leave Chelsea in the summer, according to Danny Higginbotham.
When asked if he thinks Costa will leave Chelsea, Higginbotham told: "I think so. I would be very surprised if he was at Chelsea at the start of next season.
"From Chelsea’s point of view, before they let him go they will have to get someone in.
"He will be very difficult to replace."
Southampton have announced the signing of winger Nathan Tella.
Tella, 17, has been at Arsenal for 10 years but was out of contract at the end of the season.
Neymar could go but Lionel Messi looks set to stay at Barcelona
The winger said: “I am delighted to have signed here.
“It’s just a relief to know that I have found a place that I can settle down and crack on with my future.
“I had a really good ten years at Arsenal and I wouldn’t change any of it, but I am looking forward to starting a new chapter here now.”
