Michael Carrick has been a key man for Manchester United since joining from Tottenham in 2006, making over 300 Premier League appearances.
The 35-year-old's contract is up in the summer, meaning he will be free to leave United on a free transfer.
However, the midfielder has claimed he sees his long-term future with the club and admitted he would one day like to manage the Red Devils.

Michael Carrick: It 'just didn't work out' with Moyes
"I’m doing my coaching badges at the minute so who knows what will happen in the future," Carrick told MOTD magazine.
"It depends what kind of opportunities you get.
"But I’d love to be manager of England or United one day, might as well aim for the top!"
Carrick's career at Old Trafford is beginning to wind down and he has found first-team opportunities hard to come by under Jose Mourinho this season.
The former Spurs man has made 27 appearances in all competitions, scoring one goal and providing one assist.
His current deal with the club expires in June.
