Sir Alex Ferguson would have slammed Luke Shaw, says Phil Neville
Luke Shaw has come in for some harsh criticism this week from Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho.
He publicly berated the former Southampton defender, accusing him of not having a "football brain" after the 1-1 draw with Everton.
And according to ex-United man Phil Neville, Sir Alex Ferguson would have been equally hard on the 21-year-old.

Jose Mourinho: Luke Shaw is a long way behind in the team
"He would have probably dealt with it in a similar way to Jose, probably not as much publicly," Neville told BBC Radio 5 Live.
"Behind the scenes he [Ferguson] would have been giving him the full barrels.
"Leaving him in no doubt that if you don't meet those standards, go and play for somebody else."
"Jose's probably tried this behind closed doors and this is the last throw of the dice.
"To speak poorly about one of his own players, he must be absolutely at his wits end."
Shaw has made just 16 appearances for United this season, starting just seven Premier League games.
