MANCHESTER UNITED have been handed a huge boost in their pursuit of Benfica midfielder Anderson Talisca.

Talisca, 23, has been heavily linked with a move to the Premier League in recent seasons.
Manchester United, Liverpool and Everton are all apparently interested in signing the Brazilian midfielder, who is currently on loan at Beskitas.
But United appear to be in pole position to sign him with Jose Mourinho preparing to trigger his £21million release clause in an attempt to bring him to Old Trafford this summer.
And Besiktas chief Fikret Orman has revealed that Benfica will be forced to accept offers if his clause is matched.

“Benfica are keen on selling Talisca, if a £21 million offer is made they will try and make the deal go through,” Orman told Turkish-Football.
Talisca has made 25 appearances for Besiktas this season, scoring ten goals and providing five assists.
