Arsene Wenger has been busy during the international break finalising his list of summer transfer targets that also includes Middlesbrough defender Ben Gibson.
The Gunners will join Manchester City and Chelsea in the battle to sign Gibson who is rated at £30 million and seems set to leave the Riverside if the club are relegated.
Wenger has been keeping tabs on French international Rabiot, 21, who had a short spell at City as a youth and is set to make his move.
