However, that may not be enough to tempt Sporting into selling the Euro 2016-winning goalkeeper who is under contract until June 2022.
Arsenal have also been linked with Leicester shot-stopper Kasper Schmeichel this week.
The Sun claim Arsene Wenger wants the Denmark international to offer competition to current No 1 Petr Cech.
The former Chelsea man has come in for some criticism this term, while back-up keeper David Ospina could leave to find regular game time elsewhere.
Patricio has made 31 appearances for Sporting this season, keeping 12 clean sheets in all competitions.
He is under contract at the Estadio Jose Alvalade until June 2022.
