Kostas Manolas reckons Roma is not up to the standards of Radja Nainggolan
Nainggolan admitted he did not want to move to England because of the weather and the lifestyle.
But his team-mate Kostas Manolas has urged him to put these concerns to one side and join Chelsea due to Roma not being up to the standards of Europe's top teams.
Radja Nainggolan is a long-term transfer target for Chelsea boss Antonio Conte
“Nainggolan doesn’t like the rain, but he is among the best midfielders in the world and has to get accustomed to that too if he wants to play in the best teams. He can do it, because he’s a phenomenon," Manolas told Italian outlet Sports Mediaset.
“Let’s be honest, we’re not up to the standard of Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.”
Nainggolan has scored nine goals in 28 Serie A appearances for Roma this season and is contracted to the club until 2020.
