Bastian Schweinsteiger ended his Manchester United nightmare yesterday when he agreed a deal with the MLS side.
The German midfielder is expected to put pen to paper on a one-year deal worth £3.6million, subject to the passing of a medical and obtainment of a visa.
Having quickly decided Schweinsteiger was surplus to requirements, Jose Mourinho forced the 32-year-old to train with the reserves at the start of the season.

He is a gentleman. Bastian has had nothing but good things to say about his experience at United
The move represents a clean break for Mourinho, who couldn’t find room for Schweinsteiger in his team.
And according to the Daily Mail, United saved themselves a fortune by letting Schweinsteiger leave without paying up his contract.
It is said Schweinsteiger, who had 15 months left to run on his United deal, could have demanded a lump sum of around £10m which would have been in line with the three-year contract he initially signed when he joined in 2015.
Having played just 18 Premier League games for United, Schweinsteiger ended up costing the club around £800,000 a game.
Despite his disappointing spell in Manchester, Chicago boss Nelson Rodriguez doesn’t think Schweinsteiger harbours any ill feeling towards his former employers.
He said: “He is a gentleman and a sportsman.
"Bastian has had nothing but good things to say about his experience at United and his relationship with his team-mates and the coaching staff.
"He clearly has great affection for the fans as well.”
