WATFORD are closing in on a permanent move for Everton midfielder Tom Cleverley.

Cleverley’s loan deal will see him trigger a full-time switch once he has reached double figures in appearances.
That is destined to happen after the international break with Cleverley now appearing eight times in Watford colours since his January arrival.
A fee has still yet to be agreed with both clubs still haggling over Cleverley’s £8million valuation.

And the 13-times capped England star has made it clear that he wants to stay at Vicarage Road for the long-term.
Cleverley said: “I’m realistic as there’s a lot of midfielders at Everton right now. And I’m now playing and really enjoying my football at Watford. Hopefully it can be longer than the current arranagment.”
