And his talents have been spotted with top Premier League sides Liverpool, Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham all interested in the left-back.

However, football.london claim Liverpool have beaten their rivals to his signature and he will be on his way to Anfield this summer.

The German is not convinced by Alberto Moreno and has often used the versatile James Milner to fill in at full-back.
