Barcelona nearly signed top Manchester United transfer target last summer
BARCELONA nearly signed Monaco star Bernardo Silva last summer, according to reports.

Manchester United have made Silva one of their top targets for the end of the season.
The Portugal international produced a stunning display as Monaco beat Manchester City 3-1 in the Champions League last night.
As well as United, Chelsea and Real Madrid have been backed to sign the 22-year-old.

Arda Turan was the subject of a big approach from the Chinese Super League
But Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo claim he could have been a Barcelona player had last summer been different.
It is said the Catalan giants were determined to offload Arda Turan to the Chinese Super League.
And Silva had already been identified as his natural replacement.

Jorge Mendes had negotiated Barcelona’s signing of Valencia midfielder Andre Gomes and his influence was said to be key to a deal.
However, Turan eventually opted to stay at the Nou Camp, which meant Silva staying put at Monaco.
They could now miss out on the midfielder for good with United said to have first option on the player.
