Chelsea transfer news: £16m defender target speaks out over future
SIMON KJAER has denied being unhappy at Fenerbahce amid rumours linking him with a summer move to Chelsea.
Chelsea target Simon Kjaer has dismissed rumours that he is unhappy at Fenerbahce
The 27-year-old was the subject of interest from Chelsea in January with Antonio Conte reportedly considering a £16million bid to bring him to Stamford Bridge.
Turkish newspaper Fotomac claimed Kjaer has since told Fenerbahce he is unhappy at the club and wants a summer transfer.
Fotomac quoted Kjaer as saying: “I feel tricked, Fenerbahce have not lived up to expectations.

“I have offers and will move at the end of the season.”
And this has put Chelsea on alert with Conte keen to bolster his defensive ranks in the summer and viewing the Denmark international as a perfect player to fit into his 3-4-3 formation.

However, Kjaer has publicly dismissed these rumours linking him with a potential move to London on Twitter.
Kjaer has been in impressive form for the Turkish giants this season, scoring three goals in 27 appearances across all competitions.
