And according to Spanish publication AS, Rodriguez's team-mate Isco may have a big impact on his decision.
The duo have both been battling for a starting spot this term and Rodriguez is hoping to renew his current deal at the Bernabeu providing Isco leaves.
Isco's contract expires in next summer and he is yet to commit his future to Real with his game time limited.
