Rio Ferdinand: This player is the hardest to face in the Premier League
RIO FERDINAND has claimed Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez is one of the toughest players to face in the Premier League.
Rio Ferdinand has claimed he would not have enjoyed playing against Alexis Sanchez
Alexis Sanchez has been a standout performer for Arsenal this season, scoring 20 goals in all competitions.
The Chile international was unable to get on the scoresheet in Saturday's 3-1 defeat to Liverpool at Anfield.
However, ex-Manchester United defender Rio Ferdinand was full of praise for the 28-year-old, telling BT Sport he would be a handful for any defence.

"From a defensive point of view, the hardest player to face in that group would be Sanchez for me,” Ferdinand said.
“His movement, you can’t pin him down. I think all the other guys you know where they are. Wherever the ball is on the pitch, you have an idea of where they are.
“They’re all big strong guys, physical, like the contact. Sanchez is more elusive for a defender."
And when asked how he would have gone about stopping Sanchez, Ferdinand added: "You ask for help!
“It needs sometimes more than one of you or it’s your positional sense in trying to stop them getting the ball sometimes.
“You have to set your team up for playing against players like him."
