Arsenal and Chelsea summer target issues ultimatum over his future
ARSENAL and Chelsea have both reportedly been placed on alert for Alvaro Morata.
Alvaro Morata - 5 things you need to know
The Real Madrid striker has seen game time hard to come by this term, managing just seven La Liga starts.
Arsenal have been long-term admirers of the Spaniard, with recent reports suggesting they could use Alexis Sanchez as a bargaining tool to secure a deal.
Chelsea have also been tracking Morata as a replacement for Diego Costa, who was linked with a move to China last month.
And according to Spanish news outlet Don Balon, Morata has issued an ultimatum to the club over his future.
It is thought the 24-year-old has so far been ‘biting his tongue’, but wants clear assurances from Zinedine Zidane that he has a chance of working his way into his first-team plans.

Zinedine Zidane believes Alvaro Morata should be getting more game time
They did very well and changed the game for us. I'm certain that we will need to call on the whole squad
If that is not forthcoming, a summer move could be on the cards.
Morata came off the pitch and scored the winner in Real’s 3-2 victory over Villarreal on Sunday.
Zidane conceded Morata deserves to be getting more regular first-team action as he said: “There is no doubt that Isco and Morata deserve to get more minutes.
"They did very well and changed the game for us. I'm certain that we will need to call on the whole squad.
“I gave Morata a couple of tactical bits of advice and told him he needed to be in the box to finish any chances and for him to stick on Bruno in the middle when we were defending.”
