Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp reveals interest in Tottenham star: I tried to sign him
JURGEN KLOPP has revealed he is a big admirer of Tottenham midfielder Christian Eriksen and tried to sign him for Borussia Dortmund.

Christian Eriksen has established himself as one of the best midfielders in the Premier League since joining Tottenham from Ajax in 2013.
However, Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has revealed the Danish international could have joined Borussia Dortmund before he signed for Spurs.
The ex-Dortmund manager tried to bring him to the Westfalenstadion four years ago and he has admitted he is still a huge admirer of the 25-year-old.

"When I was in Dortmund we were very interested in Eriksen," Klopp told Danish newspaper Ekstra Bladet.
"But we had to choose between him, Mkhitaryan and De Bruyne.
"Christian Eriksen is a great player. Everyone would love to have him on their team.
"At that time we had three players, we went after – Henrikh Mkhitariyan, Kevin de Bruyne and Christian Eriksen.
"We scouted all three very intensely, but we knew we could only get one. We were happy to get Mkhitaryan”.
Eriksen has made 33 appearances for Tottenham this season, scoring seven goals and providing 11 assists in all competitions.
