Manchester United and Chelsea want to sign James Rodriguez in the summer.
The Real Madrid forward said before Christmas that he was considering his future at the Bernabeu.
A January switch to the Premier League was mooted - but Real’s inability to sign a replacement due to a transfer restriction meant they were unwilling to sell.
And Rodriguez told reporters after Real’s 3-1 Champions League win over Napoli last night that he has decided to remain at Real.
“I thought about it a lot but Real Madrid is a club where I always wanted to be,” Rodriguez said [football-espana].
“I’ve always dreamt of being here.
“So I want to stay here for many years.”

Express Sport understands Chelsea were considering a £60million offer for Rodriguez, who joined Real after winning being named player of the tournament at the 2014 World Cup.
Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is also a fan of the 25-year-old but the Portuguese boss had intentions to strengthen in the summer, rather than last month.
