Leeds United boss Monk has been linked with a possible move to Rangers.
The Glasgow club are seeking a new boss following Mark Warburton's departure.
But Monk dismissed the claims when asked in his pre-match press conference ahead of Leeds' trip to Ipswich on Saturday (3pm).
"I don't comment on speculation," he said.
"I'm focused on my job here."
Leeds sit fifth in the Championship as they pursue promotion to the Premier League.
It is currently their most successful campaign since reaching the Championship playoff final in 2006.
Monk only took over the club last summer and after a rocky start has inspired a surge up the table.

Leeds are out of the FA Cup, meaning Championship football is all they have to focus on for the remainder of the campaign.
On the Ipswich clash Monk added: "Mick McCarthy is fantastic, he's a very good and experienced manager, who I have huge respect for.
"We are prepared for what we are going to face and we know what we have to do to try and win the game."
As for Rangers, they are still searching a new boss following Warburton's controversial departure.
The club sit third in the Scottish Premiership, 27 points behind league leaders Celtic.
