CHELSEA goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois believes his team-mates were at fault for their 1-1 draw with Burnley.
Does Alan Smith accidentally swear after Chelsea's draw?
Pedro gave the Premier League leaders an early lead but they were pegged back with Robbie Brady curled a free-kick past Courtois.
It was the first direct free-kick Chelsea had conceded since March 2013.
Nemanja Matic was guilty of committing the foul on Joey Barton.
And the Belgian shot-stopper feels the players in front of him put Chelsea under threat with needless fouls.
Thibaut Courtois is beaten by Robbie Brady's free-kick
He said: "Obviously its a pity to drop points with a free-kick like that I think sometimes when you have a kicker like Brady is, we have to try and not make fouls there.
"And, a foul there is always dangerous.
"He put it in the top corner, I came close to saving it but it was so well taken, it was not saveable for me."
