Hull manager fumes after Arsenal get away with red card decision
HULL boss Marco Silva believes Kieran Gibbs deserved a red card in the 2-0 defeat at Arsenal today.
Arsenal defender Kieran Gibbs was yellow carded for a last-man challenge in the Hull game
Arsenal defender Gibbs brought down Hull’s Lazar Markovic midway through the first half, with the Tigers player through on goal.
But referee Mark Clattenburg only booked the left-back after the aerial collision.
We make mistakes, sometimes the referee make mistakes too
Arsenal went on to win through two goals from star man Alexis Sanchez.
But Silva believes the game could have been different had Gibbs been sent off.
"Yes. It is true. Markovic (would) go to the goal,” Silva told Sky Sports when asked if Gibbs should have seen red.
"I see positives in the game. I liked how we reacted in the second half.
“Now we have time to rest and prepare for the next game."

Silva says Gibbs (left) should have seen red for this foul on Markovic
He added: "2-0 is not the story of the game. We didn't start well in the first half. We lost some balls in important zones.
“They scored one goal (with a) handball. We make mistakes, sometimes the referee make mistakes too. We don't have a good day but that is football.”
