Confirmed: Newcastle announce deal is finally completed well after deadline day
CHEIK TIOTE has finally completed his move to Chinese second division side Beijing Enterprises, Newcastle have confirmed.
Newcastle finally announce Cheik Tiote departure
The transfer was formally concluded this morning when the 30-year-old midfielder ended his six-and-a-half-year stay at Newcastle.
Tiote follows the likes of Oscar, John Obi Mikel and Odion Ighalo, who all left English clubs last month for a move to the Far East.

A club statement said: "The club can now confirm that Cheick Tiote has joined Chinese second-tier side Beijing Enterprises for an undisclosed fee.
"The deal was formally completed on Thursday morning, bringing an end to the Ivorian midfielder's six-and-a-half-year Newcastle career."
The Ivory Coast international, who was also linked with Chinese Super League side Shandong Luneng, has signed a two-year deal in the Chinese capital.
Cheik Tiote struggled for game time at Newcastle
Tiote arrived at St James' Park in a £3.5million move from Dutch club FC Twente in 2010 and made 156 senior appearances for the Magpies.
But he struggled for game time under Rafa Benitez and only made three appearances this season - with two of those in the FA Cup.
