CHELSEA have fallen behind in the race to sign Franck Kessie this summer, according to reports.
Franck Kessie shows off his skills and talent on the pitch
The Atalanta midfielder was identified by Antonio Conte as a January target.
However, with Cesc Fabregas staying, Conte didn’t push for a move.
The Blues could resurrect their interest at the end of the season, but they are likely to face stiff competition.

As I understand he has already been sold to Roma but will stay with us for another year
According to Italian news outlet Calciomercato, AC Milan have made the first move for the 20-year-old.
It is believed a meeting was held yesterday between Kessie’s representative and Milan’s director of sport Massimiliano Mirabelli.
This is despite Kessie’s team-mate Papu Gomez suggesting the Ivory Coast international is Roma bound.
He said: “As I understand he has already been sold to Roma but will stay with us for another year."
