Lex Immers: This is why I rejected a move to Celtic in January
LEX IMMERS has revealed why he turned down a move to Celtic in January.
Lex Immers - I turned down Celtic because I didn't want my kids growing up in Glasgow
The 30-year-old was linked with a move to Celtic during the transfer window after being released by Championship side Cardiff last month.
But he opted to join Belgian outfit Club Brugge over the Hoops - despite being offered a more lucrative deal by Brendan Rodgers - because he did not want to move his children to Glasgow.

And he insists he did not hesitate over joining Brugge despite the financial loss.
"I didn't want to drag my kids to Glasgow and therefore I chose to sign for Brugge," he told the Daily Record.
Brendan Rodgers offered Immers a more lucrative deal but he rejected his approach
"I didn’t hesitate for a second when it came to making my choice.
"That was even though it cost me a lot of money to sign for Brugge instead of Celtic or Stuttgart."
