Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger: This is why we lost to Chelsea
ARSENE WENGER insists his Arsenal side were not clinical enough in their defending in the 3-1 defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger - We weren't clinical enough in our defending against Chelsea
Arsenal's Premier League title chances went up in smoke after goals from Marcos Alonso, Eden Hazard and Cesc Fabregas ensured Chelsea moved 12 points clear of their rivals.
Alonso's controversial first goal saw him leap highest to beat Hector Bellerin and head home.

Hazard's stunning second saw him pick up the ball from the halfway line and waltz past the Gunners defence with relative ease to score.
Then former Gunners star Fabregas capitalised on Petr Cech's howler to seal their fate.
And Arsene Wenger has slammed his players for their lack of maturity and experience at a time when they needed it most.

"We were really naive and not clinical in our defending. Then Chelsea looked the better side," Wenger said.
"We took risks and they were well organised and played well on the counter attack and looked powerful.
"We lost ball the many times. In situations we lacked maturity and experience. Individually some of our players were not at their best today."
