West Ham fans will be forgiven for expecting Snodgrass to hit the ground running at the London Stadium having scored seven of Hull's 20 Premier League goals this season.
Payet meanwhile was renowned for being West Ham's go-to man when the going got tough but Snodgrass doesn't feel any extra pressure about taking the mantle left by Payet.
“No, I don’t think so. The lads have been doing great without Payet," Snodgrass told the London Evening Standard.

"They’ve won a lot of games over the past few weeks and have got some big results.
“There are players here that can win games. They have a good core of lads that have a winning desire which breeds confidence.
"You end up just fitting into that. That’s the way I am. I want to win every game so I’m delighted to be a part of it.”
