And Express Sport understands the Hammers are no longer confident of securing the deal tomorrow.
West Ham pocketed £25m from the sale of Dimitri Payet and have already spent around £10m on Robert Snodgrass and £8 on Jose Fonte.

They will continue to look at their options up to the deadline but feel Hogan is out of reach.
Meanwhile the club remain open to Reece Oxford going out on loan but are yet to receive a concrete offer.

Rangers were linked with an 18-month loan for the defender last week but need to shift a centre-back before another can be signed.
Nottingham Forrest and Brentford have also been mentioned but Express Sport understand the Hammers are still waiting for an approach.
