Norwich Transfer U-turn: Defender expected to fly to UK to complete shock move
NORWICH have agreed a loan deal for Ajax defender Mitchell Dijks, his agent has claimed.
Mitchell Dijks was initially not keen on a move to Norwich
Mitchell Dijks was thought to have snubbed a move to Norwich last week because he did not want to play in the Championship.
However, the 23-year-old left-back's agent Dick van Burik has claimed he has reconsidered and will now link up with Alex Neil's side.
"Norwich City didn't let him go," Van Burik told Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf.

"Dijks doubted initially, because he does not want to play the next season in the second tier.
"But now he goes to do everything with Norwich."
And Dijks' agent Van Burik has revealed his client changed his mind about the deal because of the persistence of manager Neil.
"Alex Neil, the manager, wanted him at all costs and Mitchell finally crossed the line," he added.
Dijks is expected to fly to the UK today to finalise his loan move, with reports in Holland suggesting he could have a permanent clause in his contract.
He has made 20 appearances for Ajax this season and has European experience, featuring in Champions League qualification and the Europa League this term.
