Arsenal in talks over defender transfer: Arsene Wenger to have final say
ARSENAL defender Krystian Bielik could join Charlton Athletic, according to reports in Poland.
Wenger praises Arsenal for Southampton win
The 19-year-old has made just one appearance for the Gunners this term, coming on as a substitute in the EFL Cup last September.
Bielik is a regular for the under-23s side but it appears manager Arsene Wenger wants him to gain first-team experience away from the Emirates in the second half of the season.
Polish outlet First Eleven say talks have taken place with the League One side about a transfer.
But it is claimed Wenger is yet to make a final decision on Bielik's future.
Charlton, who are managed by Karl Robinson, have already brought in Nathan Byrne, Lewis Page and Jake Forster-Caske in January.
