Joel Pereira: My thoughts on Jose Mourinho after my Man United debut
MANCHESTER UNITED goalkeeper Joel Pereira has thanked Jose Mourinho for handing him his debut at Old Trafford today.

Pereira, 20, came on for Sergio Romero with 10 minutes remaining of their 4-0 win over Wigan.
The Portugal youth international has enjoyed stints on loan at Rochdale and Belenenses since arriving at Manchester United.
And he singled out his manager for thanks following his cameo appearance.
“It was amazing,” he told MUTV.
“Me and my family are very happy.
“I would like to thank the manager for this.
“It’s not every player that gets the opportunity to come on at Old Trafford, so thanks to the manager. It was fantastic.”

Asked if his family were at the game today, Pereira replied: “Unfortunately not but they were at home watching on TV.
“I spoke to them on the phone and they congratulated me. I’m very happy and they are also.”
