Leeds United crashed out of the FA Cup to the hands of Sutton United today.
The Championship club were totally outplayed and went out 1-0 to a Sutton penalty.
Maybe the club are best to answer when and where that's going to happen
Monk made 10 changes to the XI that beat Nottingham Forest 2-0 on Wednesday.
And while he defended his team selection, the manager also called on the club to make signings before Tuesday’s 11pm transfer deadline.
“I stand by all the decisions I make. Sometimes you’ll suffer but that’s life. When they backfire it's my responsibility,” Monk said, as reported by the Yorkshire Evening Post.

“I’ve said it all along we need players. Maybe the club are best to answer when and where that's going to happen.
"I’ve said this before today’s game. I’ve been saying it for a while. We need more players. That doesn’t change."
