Mukhtar Ali leaves Chelsea on loan
Chelsea have announced the departure of midfielder Mukhtar Ali to Dutch club Vitesse Arnhem, where he will spend the rest of the campaign.
A statement on Chelsea’s official website read: “Development squad player Mukhtar Ali has joined Vitesse Arnhem on loan until the end of the season.
"The 19-year-old moves to the Dutch club for what will be his first loan to a senior squad."
Antonio Conte says Branislav Ivanovic can leave Chelsea
Antonio Conte insists he will not stand in the way of Zenit St Petersburg target Branislav Ivanovic leaving Stamford Bridge this month.
The Chelsea manager told Bein Sports: "It is difficult to make a decision but we must respect every decision for the players.
"Ivanovic is a legend here. He has played a lot of games and won a lot. In this season he is not playing in the same way as the last few years. We must wait over these next three days and we will see."
Ruben Loftus-Cheek told to leave Chelsea on loan
Trevor Sinclair has urged Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek to leave Stamford Bridge on loan to secure regular first-team football.
“It’s a conundrum," Sinclair said. "You go away and someone gets injured and you could have had an opportunity. Or you could be waiting for ever.
“He’s not a young man anymore. I feel it would be a good option if he got to a good club and played some football.
“Get the experience and feel like the main man, because he looks like he has the ability to be one.”
