GARY NEVILLE has sided with Jurgen Klopp for playing a weakened line-up, despite losing 2-1 to Wolves in the FA Cup fourth round today.

Jurgen Klopp made nine changes to the Liverpool side that got knocked out of the EFL Cup in the week.
Teenagers Ben Woodburn, Ovie Ejaria and Joe Gomez were named in the first team while 21-year-old Connor Randall was also handed a surprise start.

The Reds are now out of all domestic cups and face a must-win game against Chelsea on Tuesday to revive any hopes of staging a fight for the title.
Klopp was criticised by the likes of Gary Lineker for showing a "lack of respect" to the FA Cup by fielding a weakened side but Neville took to Twitter to explain why he had no problem with the Liverpool manager's team selection.
"Lots won't like this but Weakened teams usually means young players getting a chance to shine," Neville said.
