Manchester United plot double deal for Serie A stars: Club chief has already met agent
MANCHESTER UNITED are interested in signing Lazio duo Stefan de Vrij and Keita Balde Diao, according to reports in Italy.

De Vrij, 24, has been touted as a long-term target for Manchester United with manager Jose Mourinho keen to bolster his defensive ranks.
While Diao 21, is reportedly being eyed as a potential replacement for Wayne Rooney should he secure a lucrative move to China.

Both players have been attracting interest from the Premier League with Chelsea also interested in the pair.
But Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport claim United are leading the race to sign them and are plotting a double swoop to bring the duo to Old Trafford.

It is claimed contract talks between Diao and Lazio have stalled and club chief Igli Tare has already met with agent Jorge Mendes to help generate interest in the Senegalese forward.
Recent reports have claimed United have been told to pay £26million if they want to secure Diao's signature.
Diao is contracted to Lazio until the summer of 2018 and has also be drumming up interest from Juventus and AC Milan.
