Manchester United told to fork out £26m to sign striker from European giants
MANCHESTER UNITED have been told they must spend £26million to sign Lazio striker Keita Balde Diao, according to reports.

And The Sun claim that Diao has been identified as a potential summer transfer target.
The Senegalese star is also said to be wanted by AC Milan.

Milan were taken over by a Chinese consortium last year and are on the up under current boss Vincenzo Montella.
The Serie A side are thought to be front-runners in the race for Diao but United have the finances and pulling power to broker a deal.
Italian website Calcio Mercato report that the striker is likely to stay at Lazio this month.

However, United’s hopes of landing him are boosted by the fact his agent is Jorge Mendes.
Mendes is also Mourinho’s agent and has previously negotiated deals for the likes of David De Gea, Radamel Falcao and Nani at Old Trafford.
The super-agent is said to want his client to move to the Premier League and could use his relationship with Mourinho to make a deal happen.
