Sean Goss scores impressive goal for Manchester United
According to The Guardian, Newcastle goalkeeper Tim Krul has emerged as a shock target for Premier League leaders Chelsea.
Blues manager Antonio Conte could be in the market for a back-up keeper to No 1 Thibaut Courtois with Bournemouth interested in Asmir Begovic.
Chelsea would only have 34-year-old Eduardo as cover if Begovic left.
Krul, 28, is currently on a season-long loan at Ajax in his native Holland but is yet to make a competitive appearance this campaign.

Manchester United midfielder Sean Goss is reportedly closing in on a January move to Championship outfit QPR.
According to West London Sport, QPR have already agreed a fee for the 21-year-old and are set to sign him on a permanent deal.
Goss, who failed to make a single senior appearance for United, is now set to undergo a medical and discuss personal terms with Ian Holloway's side.
The Germany-born midfielder is said to have attracted a host of interest from the Championship this month.

Samuel Umtiti says he rejected a Premier League club to join Barcelona
Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti has confirmed he rejected offers from the Premier League before his £21m switch to the Nou Camp last summer.
Arsenal were heavily linked with a move for the France international, but the former Lyon star admits he only had his eye on Barca.
"It was always a dream for me to play here [at Barca],” Umtiti told French outlet Canal+.
“I must be the happiest man in the world. There was another club other than Barca, there were English clubs too.
“I could have earned a lot more money, but I wasn't interested. For me, it was Barcelona and not another team."
