When asked about the sending off, Murphy told Match of the Day: “Those stats are ridiculously bad.
“He’s becoming a liability.
“This technique he uses for trying to tackle is a silly technique - it’s off the ground and it is like a scissor kick.

“He keeps getting himself into these predicaments, and he’ll end up not playing, because the other players will get sick of him.
“The red card is a no brainer for the ref.”
Arsenal are currently eight points behind Premier League table toppers Chelsea.
They will be without Xhaka as he is now suspended for four matches.
