BARCELONA must stump up £26million to sign Manchester United target Carlos Soler, according to reports.

Manchester United were said to be tracking Valencia's Soler as recently as last month in view to a January deal.
Manager Jose Mourinho is reportedly a fan of the Spain youth player, who has only just broken into the Valencia first team.

He had a £6.9m release clause at the start of the season but that has now leapt to £26m following is first-team debut in December.
And the likelihood of a deal from either United or Barca now appears slim following the increased clause.
Spanish newspaper Mundo Deportivo claim Soler himself has tried to engineer a move to Barca since he was a youth player at Valencia.

Barca technical director Robert Fernandez, who looks after player transfers at the Nou Camp club, is well versed in the player’s abilities.
