The former Manchester United defender has been linked with a return to the Premier League, with Palace mooted as a possible destination.

There would be many contacts made by the chairman to agents on whether these players are available
But despite Palace’s interest in Evra, Allardyce was coy when quizzed about the chances of a deal.
“There would be many contacts made by the chairman, myself, to agents on whether these players are available,” Allardyce said.
“Then of course it's very good if that player wants to leave, for that to get released to all the papers, to all the radio stations, in case a better club pops up."

Evra’s agent, Federico Pastorello, insists his client’s future could be decided in the next 10 days.
He said: “He’s always had an unconditional love for the Premier League and the idea of returning to England inspires him.
“In the next week to 10 days, he’ll decide.”
Palace, who lost 3-0 to West Ham in the Premier League on Saturday, face Bolton in their FA Cup third round replay tonight (8pm).
