"I’ve simply arrived in the Premier League since last season," Ozil said at the awards ceremony.
"I’ve remained injury-free for the most part and I feel very comfortable in London now as well."
And the former Real Madrid man has admitted his fine form for the Gunners is all thanks to a change in his eating and work-out routines.
"I’ve changed a few things in my life this past year, for example my diet and my training," Ozil added.
"That helps me to regenerate fast after games and it reduces the chance of getting injured."
Ozil has made 24 appearances in all competitions for Arsenal this term, scoring nine goals and providing seven assists.
